Twentieth Century

Poster concept for a lecture series on typography. Twentieth Century is a geometric san serif that was designed by Sol Hess in response to the raging success of Futura. The typeface was based on geometric shapes, influenced by the Bauhaus design style of the period, which is where the poster also takes its cues from.
