Year of the Snake

I love snakes. I love the way their bodies twist and coil and move. I love the way the light plays off of their scales. I love how heavy, soft and dry they feel when you hold them. They are an oft-misunderstood animal, one that demands awe and respect and their symbolic ties to transformation and feminine power are things that I admire. I love snakes.
